Going To Market Capelet
— Created by Janice Farrell PeaA new color of silk garden caught Janice's eye before a long car trip; by the time she returned, she had designed this charming capelet on the needles.
Rock 'n' Roll Shawl
— Created by Janice Farrell PeaJanice started knitting this shawl on her way to Indianapolis to hear Bruce Springsteen in concert; then the project languished, but she picked it up again and finished it in the car on her way to St. Louis to hear the Eagles in concert. She decided, therefore, that the shawl simply a rock 'n' roll shawl, hence the name.
Faux Entrelac Wrap
— Created by Janice Farrell PeaJanice wanted a wrap with the look of woven bands typical of entrelac knitting but without picking up stitches for every band of woven blocks. Thus, she turned to Faux Entrelac, in which blocks of stockinette stitch and garter stitch are alternated to create the look of entrelac without the fuss. The wrap is knit on the diagonal, from one corner to the opposite corner, furthering the woven look of entrelac. Shortly after finishing this pattern, she wrote a Faux Entrelac Baby Blanket or Throw Pattern.
Holey Moley Wrap
— Created by Janice Farrell PeaAlthough we don't have pictures (because Janice gave away the model), this wrap is wonderful. It uses a ``reversible'' pattern that is nearly identical on both sides.
Simple Triangular Shawl
— Created by Janice Farrell PeaThis simple shawl can be knit from a single yarn (hand-painted or variegated show off the v-pattern best) or a combination of yarns that all knit roughly to the same gauge. The combination approach can either be a great way to use up some of your leftover yarns in your stash or a great excuse to buy an exsquisite novelty yarn and design a shawl around it!
