• The 2006 Fall Open House Was Wonderful
I want to thank everyone who came to the Fall Open House. This year's event was the best ever, and I was pleased to have so many people
attend and to give out over 20 door prizes.
Louisa Harding, famous for her pattern books and her wonderful line of yarns, visited the shop on September 9, 2006.
• The 2006 Fall Open House is September 22, 23, and 24
Mark your calendars for the Fall Open House. We will have demonstrations and mini-classes to learn new techniques,
door prizes, special discounts, and refreshments! Friday and Saturday the shop will open during our normal hours (9:30am to 5:00pm), but
on Sunday, the hours are 9:30am to 4:00pm for the one Sunday a year we are open.

Ray Arseneau Wins Blue Ribbon, Red Ribbon, and Fourth Place!
Congratulations to Ray Arseneau for winning the Blue Ribbon at the Champaign County Fair for his Fair Isle vest. He won a red ribbon
for his painting of the supplies in his knit-kit, and he won Fourth Place for his modular vest (pattern by Helene Rush).

Adrienne Perlman Wins First Place!
Congratulations to Adriennne Perlman for winning the First Place Prize in the novice skein competition at the Fleece Fair in Greencastle,
Indiana. This competition is for spinners who have been spinning for less than one year.
