After knitting the Baby J cardigan, Kate decided she needed a grown-up version. Cabin Fever, though, has an adult version of the Baby J cardigan in the works, and we'll carry that pattern when it's on the market.
Kathryn knit this gorgeous cabled sweater using Louisa Harding's Kashmir DK yarn and a Louisa Harding pattern.
Diane knit this wonderful sweater using a combination of Sara Superwash and an eyelash yarn at the waist for a little extra pizzazz.
Heidi outdid herself yet again with this short-sleeved raglan sweater knit from Hotaru yarn from Noro. As always, she has chosen magnficent accessories to highlight her handknit creations.
Janice knit this stunning jacket for her daughter, using Kureyon. She finished the jacket with two glorious glass buttons from the Czech Republic that resemble sunflowers. The pattern is available in Noro Revisited by Cornelia Tuttle Hamilton.
Jennifer knit this wonderful, retro cotton vee-neck top using a textured cotton. The lace detail on the sleeves and at the waist is just charming.
Nikki designed this cropped wrap "on the needles", and we hope she will write up the pattern because it is a totally cute top!
Although Matthew got many compliments while modeling this sweater, Janice knit it for her husband, Bruce, who was quite pleased with his manly sweater.
Adrienne is clearly thrilled with her Elektra Sweater (the pattern was formerly known as the Pythagorean Theory Sweater). Both the pattern and the yarn are from Twisted Sisters.
Heidi fell in love with the new yarn, Hotaru, from Noro. So, in typical Heidi fashion, she cranked out a gorgeous top in no time flat! Although she does point out that the gauge is bigger than you might think from handling the yarn, making the knitting go very quickly. As always, she pairs this sweater with the perfect accessories.
Heidi knit her cabled vest using Plymouth's Suri Merino yarn, finding the perfect buttons, featuring dragons, to complete the vest.
Kate's latest project is the Kimono Vest from Cabin Fever. She used the Tidiori and Blossom yarns from Noro.
I almost forgot to include these pictures of Nikki's glorious vest. These green yarns from Louisa Harding really do harmonize in the most lovely way. Nikki also did a fantastic job in the knitting as well.
Kate had to knit the Merging Colors Vest in the Blueberry colorway (designed by Candace Eisner Strick, Strickwear Designs) to recover from Sharon's doubleknit Illini vest.
Kate knit this absolutely amazing vest for Sharon, the world's most ardent Illini fan. The sweater was knit using a two-color, double-knitting technique to create the front of this reversible vest, and the back was created using a three-color double-knitting technique with intarsia (and a little bit of embroidery). This is a true masterpiece!
And here's Sharon wearing it.
