Picture Gallery — Shawls — 2004
Matthew knit his "Three Left Turns Shawl" for both his mother and his sister. At the left, we see his Sister's shawl, knit from Noro's Kureyon. His Mother's shawl was knit from Cherry Tree Hill's Baby Loop Mohair, and is shown at the right. They each also got a coordinating shawl pin (available from Needleworks).
Kate knit this wonderful lace shawl out of "Helen's Lace" yarn from Lorna's Laces. Her daughter, Nicky, is the model.
Janice has done it again! Doesn't she have a gift for combining color and texture in a luxurious shawl that let her use some of her stash yarns and buy some fabulous new yarns, too.
Diane knit this mohair shawl from Giant Loop Mohair from Cherry Tree Hill. You know Diane, she just loves projects with big yarn on big needles!
Matthew knit this model of his second Hyphen Boy Designs pattern in Noro Kureyon.
Janice (pictured on the left) and Kate (pictured at the right) both knit fantastic "Weaver's Wool Mini Shawls" from the pattern available from the Knitlist Gift Patterns Page at http://www.knitlist.com/2003/minishawl.htm
This stole is more of Kate's handiwork -- not just the knitting but the pattern as well! Find out more about her designs at Designs from Dove Cottage.
This is one of Janice's easy, triangular shawls. The base is garter stitch, with a simple edging. You can just keep knitting till it's long enough or you run out of yarn.
